Best Hotels in Boston for Your Parents
Since most of our apartments don't have kitchens capable of cooking a family size Thanksgiving meal, we return home for the festivities and once again become the guests of our parents. But what happens when our parents want to come into the city and be our guests? If you're like me, a twenty-something's apartment does NOT have room for anyone looking fresh linens, let alone an extra queen bed. So where do we point our parents when they want to stay in the city? I've got your go-to list. And, bonus, most of these hotels you'll probably want to spend a night or two in as well, if your parents will let you!

Located among rows of stately brownstones and baronial-style mansions, the Eliot is the quintessential Back Bay charmer. Once home to Boston’s most notorious criminals, the Liberty surely is Boston’s hotel with the coolest resume. Today it is known for its unique jailhouse interior, five “It” restaurants and bars, as well as being a place known for the occassional celebrity sighting.

The Loews hotel also has a pretty cool resume as it is located in the old Boston Police Headquarters building which was built in 1920. This hotel offers a great downtown location and it is pet friendly, which I find to be very important now when hotel searching (P I'll never leave you at home). And, like all other hotels in the Loews family, the Boston location is a strict enforcer of their Green Policy Program which is committed to reducing environmental impact and impliments food donations, strict recylcing efforts and non-wasting energy technologies.
