Dunwello is Boston's New Way to Find & Review Stylists

Have you heard of the Boston-based startup, Dunwello, yet? Dunwello is a great way to do some background research and read reviews on professionals in almost any service industry. For the JUGs, it means a great way to find trusted hairstylists, manicurists, masseuses, and other health and beauty industry experts. Plus, Dunwello is easier to use than Yelp and invites everyone to write reviews - unlike Yelp where you have to be a designated Yelp Reviewer to submit opinions. 

We had to try it out. So yours truly got her hairs did and wrote a review on Dunwello! As you can see from my before picture, I was pretty desperate for a haircut, so I made an appointment at Roffi Salon on Newbury with J. J worked her magic on my hair in a serious way and I was thrilled to log onto Dunwello the next day and give her a review. All I had to do was log in with my e-mail address, search for J and write my review - short and simple. I was even able to easily include a photo of her work. Dunwello then asks to rate your experience on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), and I obviously gave J a 10. And that was it! Now anyone that is thinking about getting an appointment with J can go onto Dunwello, read my honest opinion and even see photos! She already has two more reviews since I wrote mine, which shows how quickly Dunwello is growing. 

I definitely plan to check Dunwello before scheduling beauty or fitness appointments with professionals I haven't been to before. It is an interesting take on typical business reviews that focuses on individuals instead. Definitely check it out and support this awesome new Boston biz!
