Week of March 2nd

Do we think that March has come in like a lion? This weekend was a quiet one, we are o-v-e-r the cold. House of Cards is back, I just have a few more episodes to go to be caught up, have you watched? Here are some other happenings for the week:

Local

This and next week are marked as Dine Out Boston (formerly Restaurant Week), with many specials at countless venues.

Finding brunch on Saturdays is not the easiest feat (#citygirlproblem). Well, never fear!  Park in Cambridge has that covered. We're already craving a Plum Island with our next meal there!

Shake Shack is expanding from its Cambridge and Chestnut Hill locations and we're not mad about it.

Trillium Brewing Co. in Fort Point is also growing, it's on its way to the 'burbs!  Big things are happening in that area.

The epic South Street Diner celebrates its 18th year on Wednesday, and they are having an insane deal for $10!  You get to choose chowder or salad, lobster or steak and dessert.

Miscellany

Probably the best news of the day, Mumford is BACK!

Because we can't get enough of financial advice, here are some investment tips.

What is the deal with juice?  One of our favorites, MindBodyGreen, outlines pros and cons to centrifugal juicers vs. cold-press juicers.

Use these natural ways to destress as the seasons (hopefully) change.

It's almost my favorite holiday of the year (St. Patrick's Day), here's a yummy recipe to get in the spirit!

For those who understand "Irish goodbyes..."

ICYMI, our 3rd and final Seattle Travel Guide is up!

Springtime

Sunday the 8th means it's time to spring ahead!  Clocks change at 2am.

As part of your spring cleaning, adopt these suggestions from professional organizers, and throw these things in the dishwasher to save you a few steps.

Okay, salads are not hard to make, but this guide is helpful in changing things up for your lunch!

Also on that subject, is it really worth buying organic produce?  I do whenever possible, but this is a great breakdown to review.

Let's hope for more sun and that spring is around the corner!  Make it a great week!
