How Dirty is Your Dish Soap?

Whether you hand wash your dishes like Cinderella or use a dishwasher, chances are you use a chemical detergent to get the dirty work done. Dish soap may help get your dishes squeaky clean, but unfortunately, most common brands of detergent are made from petroleum products with a whole bunch of chemical additives which aren't always good for you or the environment. Below are some top issues to look out for next time you are in the cleaning section of CVS or Target:

Best Places to Eat in Seattle

One thing we immediately observed upon visiting Seattle is that they LOVE food of all types. Unlike here in Boston, Seattle restaurants are open practically around the clock and it isn't unusual to see a group of friends sitting down to dinner at 11pm. In fact, the restaurant culture seems to overtake the need for bars or dance clubs, because, well, everyone loves to eat! Seattle is known for its top notch seafood, Asian fusion, and Scandinavian influences. We tried a bit of everything, so our Seattle Travel guide part 2 delves into our #JUGsApproved Seattle restaurants.

Neighborhoods to visit in seattle

Hello! If you've been following us on instagram you might have noticed that we just got back from a much needed four-day getaway in Seattle, Washington. Aside from the pure joy of escaping the snow and bitter temperatures in Boston, we had an amazing time discovering the city's neighborhoods, it’s people, and delicious, delicious food. Having never visited the Pacific Northwest we scoured travel sites, Seattle blogs, and consulted friends and family for recommendations on what to see before we landed. During our stay we followed much of that advice and also stumbled upon some of our own little sweet spots. This post marks our first ever official travel guide as JUG explorers, and we hope it will be something our audience can take advantage of, share, and even contribute to. So, on that note, here is our first ever travel guide, part one of our Seattle series.

Local Gem: Exhale Battery Wharf

We are always looking for new ways to get and stay fit. And this winter it has been tougher than ever before to workout regularly because a) there is 6 feet of snow b) public transit is a hot mess (or ....a cold mess) c) it is dark out all the time d) we are still poor from Christmas shopping.

But tools Class Pass and Gilt City Deals are keeping us on the ball. Through Gilt, I recently tried a month at Exhale Battery Wharf, and let me tell you, this is the gym to go to in the winter.

Daily Read: Style.com

This daily read seems entirely appropriate as we’re one day away from the finale of Fashion Week. Style.com, one of the most visited fashion sites is your go to spot for fashion news, trends and galleries upon galleries of inspiration from the red carpet, runways and streets.

The past few days I have been extra glued to the site for their reporting on NYFW. As I am unable (unworthy?) to attend NYFW, don't have time to monitor the live feeds, and absolutely do not have the brain capacity to scroll through the endless amounts of instagrams with the #NYFW tag, I am lucky to have Style.com to serve me my fashion inspiration on a silver platter when I want it. Do I need to convince you any further?
