9 Health Trends to Try in 2015
2015 is the year to get healthy. While this is a daunting task for some, there are plenty of new and exciting products and services that are making health easy. Nutritious foods, unique exercise classes, and nontoxic cosmetics are more ubiquitous than ever before - and we love it! Here is a breakdown of our favorite diet & beauty trends to kick off this year on the right foot.

Watercress
As much as we love Kale, watercress is actually more nutritionally dense according to Ecowatch. Add it to salads and watch your energy levels and well being flourish.
Green Juice
OK, ok, this was definitely a big trend in 2014, but it was one of our favorites, so we think this trend is here to stay. If you're new to green juice and are a little blender-shy, start with pre-made juice like Evolution Fresh's Cold Pressed Sweet Greens and Lemon. It is available at Starbucks, so grab one of those instead of a bajillion-calorie pastry.
And if you're extra ambitious, try Evolution Fresh's #3DaysToGreen juice cleanse. It is a great way to kickstart your health resolutions, get support from a community, and have a chance at winning some fun prizes.
Moringa Powder
If you're already on the green juice/smoothie train, try adding some Organic India Moringa Powder. Sustainably harvested from Moringa trees in arid climates, this powder is a an alkalizing, energizing, vitamin-packed supplement. It will easily add a dose of B12, A, and calcium to your morning smoothies.
Eat Local
Eating a locally-based diet is not only good for the planet, it is super healthy because you'll be giving up over-processed, over-preserved foods. Something GUD is a great option for beginners. This Boston-based startup will deliver a box of hyper-local foods right to your door and can make up special boxes if you are a vegetarian or have other diet restrictions.
Seaweed
Seaweed is going to blow up this year. It is super-nutritious, sustainable, and interesting! We predict that it will be the "kale of 2015." Interested in trying seaweed? Grab some Chomperz Seaweed Chips by Seasnax. They are crunchy and flavorful, but low in calories. They are a bit of an acquired taste, but flavors like jalepeno and BBQ help get ya started on your seaweed-loving journey.

Oil Pulling
This is another trend that gained traction throughout 2014, but to be honest, we were a little nervous about trying it. But all our fears were quelled with GuruNanda. This product was formulated specifically for oil pulling, doesn't taste bad, and comes with a handy little cup to measure how much to use.
Aztec Secret
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay is one of our fav new trends. Mix the clay powder with a bit of water and apple cider vinegar and use as a face mask for about 15 minutes. The mask hardens and pulls out all of the toxins and product residues from your skin. Wash off with warm water and follow up with a moisturizing facial oil and your pores will be clear and your skin will glow for days.
Moringa Oil
Moringa doesn't just help with your diet, the oil from the leaves is also super nutritious and is a great additive to shampoos, facial moisturizers, and works great as a cuticle softener. The Boston-based startup, Moringa Connect, offers Moringa Oil in great scents like lemongrass and peppermint!
Face Oil
Noticing a theme? After scouring the shelves for "oil-free" products throughout the late 1990s, oils are now our new best friend! They are moisturizing, protective, and have anti-aging properties. Our favorites are Enhance Face Oil by Organic Bath Co. and Mad Hippie.
